About Us
Harvex Geosolutions Limited is a privately-owned UK company, operating in the Exploration & Production (E&P) services sector to provide niche and/or cutting edge seismic, non-seismic, geotechnical and oilfield-related contract & multi-client projects to the sub-Sahara African oil and gas industry.As a growing private geosolutions company, we have graciously built a strong portfolio and network of international projects within the sub-region and we are further positioning ourselves in the frontline of relatively unexplored frontier basins, to open the sectors to increased exploration & production activities.
Our ethos are mainly three-fold;
- To champion and promote Local Content (LC) through transfer of knowledge and know-how such that the local "Expertise Harvest Exploration Plays and Optimise Production"
- Using the local content tool, we partner with leading edge technology companies having niche and robust geosolutions, we design and address specific geotechnical and oil field challenges at competitive rates in our areas of operations.
- We use our expertise to leverage the strategies and objectives of clients, partners and associates including investor advice to accomplish challenging oil and gas feats where entry into such markets is somewhat difficult. More often than not, International Oil Companies (IOCs) need to demonstrate that they can accomplish local content objectives in emerging markets, which Harvex Geosolutions has key strengths to leverage, as major value adds.

Fundamentally, we are able to demonstrate these value-adds to IOCs and service contractors from the local entity platform, to effectively deliver the required local content capacity, given the strong interface mandate we hold with various energy ministries in Sub-Saharan Africa.
As Explorationists, we evaluate and identify the market upsides in project development and deploy applicable geosolutions with cutting edge software and/or techniques to increase play or asset prospectivity with real success. Our track record and success is manifest in the contracts that we secure and deliver with our partners to clients, ministries and governments.
We have data promotion Agreement in Benin Republic and Cote d'Ivoire (MoU), and are involved with exploring data and asset promotions services in; Nigeria, Senegal, Guinea-Conakry, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Angola, Namibia, Mozambique and Congo DR, where we have strong working and efficient relationships with key decision makers in governments/ministries and NOCs.

Harvex Geosolutions are pleased to announce an agreement with the Direction Générale des Hydrocarbures (DGH) and Société Nationale d'Opérations Pétrolières de la Côte d'Ivoire (Petroci) to acquire a Multi-Client multibeam and seep sampling project offshore Côte d'Ivoire. Harvex will work with joint-venture partners; Trois Geoconsulting and GeoPartners Limited to manage the data acquisition, marketing, and licensing of the project.
The program will acquire data over water depths from 750m to 3500m and cover an area of approximately 41,000 sq. km, with the possibility to acquire additional data in the deep water to the southern limit of the demarcated blocks, subject to client request.
It is planned to obtain some 240 piston core samples from the seafloor, which will be geochemically analysed should seeps be indicated, to determine the age, API and source type, resulting in improved geological and geophysical interpretations to derisk future hydrocarbon exploration. Core target locations will be selected using backscatter analysis of the multibeam acquisition to detect anomalies that could be related to hydrocarbon seeps from the subsurface.
The program will commence Q2 2024, with acquisition expected to take around 120 days. Client sponsorship of the program is currently being sought.
